The deadline for advertising in the 2009 World Series program has passed. But we still need your financial support for this year’s series!
The Senior League World Series is supported financially entirely by businesses and organizations in the Greater Bangor area. For the last seven years, Bangor’s Mansfield Stadium has been the host of this event, which features some of the world’s best youth baseball players ages 14 through 16. From all accounts, players, coaches, parents, and fans have enjoyed their time in Bangor and in Maine, and Little League has been happy with the World Series staff’s professionalism in putting on a high-quality event that culminates in the championship game being broadcast twice on ESPN networks.
But if the Greater Bangor area and Maine will not support the series, the event will have to move on.
Times are tough economically. This is all the more reason for Mainers to invest in this great event that puts Bangor and Maine in front of a worldwide television audience. Not only will supporting the World Series entice World Series fans to come back again or tell their friends what a great place Maine is, it will give residents much-needed entertainment and yet another opportunity to enjoy a beautiful Maine summer.
Our ability to host future World Series depends on our ability to cover costs for this year’s series.
There are six sponsorship levels for supporting the series:
Grand Slam: $5,000 or more
Features premium game sponsorship, a full-page color ad in the souvenir program, 15 series passes, and a place on the Mansfield Stadium ad board. Premium games include any pool play game involving the Maine District 3 champion, semifinal games, and championship game. Game sponsorships are first come, first served, and will be promoted in ads running in the Bangor Daily News.
Home Run: $3,500
Features game sponsorship, full-page ad in the souvenir program, 10 series passes, and a place on the Mansfield Stadium ad board. Game sponsorships are first come, first served.
Triple: $1,000

Double: $500
